» OUR CURRENT FACILITY, GIDC NARODA, GUJARAT:
Our current manufacturing facility, located in Naroda, Ahmedabad, has the capability to produce approximately 2500 tons of material per month, over 2000 tons of plain guar gum, and over 350 tons of derivatized gums (guar, tamarind, and other galactomannans). Our plain guar gum plant is semi-automated, requiring minimal human interaction. Our derivatized gum plant is fully automated, PLC controlled and computerized with minimal operator involvement. This extremely high level of automation and control, combined with our extensive safety precautions, allows us to be one of the only facilities in the world with Ethylene Oxide and Propylene oxide storage and derivatization capabilities.
» OUR FUTURE FACILITY, GIDC DAHEJ, GUJARAT:
Our current manufacturing facility, located in Naroda, Ahmedabad, has the capability to produce approximately 2500 tons of material per month, overWe have recently purchased land at Dahej, on the southwest coast of Gujarat, in order to expand our business to significantly increase the current capacity. This plant is expected to be up and running in 2015. During the first phase of production, we will be manufacturing our high value derivatized products for the textile industry at this location. These products are used as textile printing thickeners, and are widely accepted in India, China, Turkey, South America and Italy. We plan to maintain and improve our automation and safety standards at this new plant, thereby continuing and expanding the manufacture of products using ethylene and propylene oxide.
During the first phase of production, we also plan to expand our production of derivatives for the cosmetics and cosmeceuticals industry. These productsare widely used by the cosmetics and cosmeceuticals industry, and command a high price, but are currently mainly manufactured in the USA, as they require special technology for manufacturing and washing, both of which we will be investing in.
Our first phase plans also include the transfer of manufacturing capabilities of our paint and construction grade derivatized products to Dahej. This will allow us to expand our manufacturing capabilities, and potentially meet the demand faced from these industries.
